# eth\_getProof

POST `https://mainnet.valuechain.xyz`

Returns the account and storage Merkle proofs for an address.

## Parameters

| Name          | Type            | Required | Description                                                                                                                                                                                              |
| ------------- | --------------- | -------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `address`     | address         | Yes      | Account address.                                                                                                                                                                                         |
| `storageKeys` | data\[]         | Yes      | Storage slots to include in the proof.                                                                                                                                                                   |
| `block`       | quantity or tag | Yes      | Hex block number, or `earliest`, `latest`, `safe`, `finalized`, or `pending`. See [block tags](/documentation/for-developers/developers/valuechain-evm/differences-from-ethereum.md#consensus-finality). |

## Result

**Proof** (object): Account proof, storage proofs, balance, nonce, code hash, and storage hash.
