# Future Plans

Staking $SOSO is expected to unlock additional utilities over time. These plans are intended to expand the role of $SOSO within the SoDEX and broader ecosystem, such as:

* **Additional rewards and incentives**: potential campaigns or benefits beyond SSI Points.
* **Ecosystem participation**: opportunities to participate in initiatives such as ValueChain-related roles (e.g., node participation) as the infrastructure evolves.
* **Trading benefits on SoDEX**: potential fee reductions or other trading-related perks for eligible stakers.
* **Governance/community rights**: potential community voting or participation rights tied to staking.
