How to Earn SoPoints
There are three primary ways to earn SoPoints this season:
Trade: Earn points by generating spot and futures trading volume and open interest (OI).
Invest Wealth: Hold Wealth products and the SLP Vault to earn yield and points at the same time. The larger your holdings, the more points you earn.
Invite: Successfully invite friends to SoDEX and earn a 25% rebate on the points they generate. Invitees also receive an extra 5% points boost.
New This Season: Squad Boost, Up to +50%
Layer 1 Season introduces team-based points multipliers. Your total boost is the sum of three components, stacking up to +70%:

Friends who sign up with your invite code build your Squad. Within the season’s 4-week window, every $1 of trading volume generated by Squad members equals 1 Energy. Accumulated Energy unlocks tiered boosts:

Referral relationships from Season 1 carry over automatically — your existing referral network becomes your Squad, with no re-binding required. Final boost is calculated using the value at snapshot time.
Early Bird Boost — +20%
The Early Bird window runs from September 1, 2026 to September 29, 2026 at 12:00 (UTC). Users who form or join a Squad during this window lock in an additional +20% boost, on top of their Squad Energy boost.
Treasure Box Airdrops
Points are not the only reward this season. Trade on SoDEX to earn Treasure Box airdrops as your cumulative trading volume hits certain milestones. Each box contains a reward, up to 10,000 USDC.
Organic Trading Bonus
Traders active between August 1, 2026 and August 31, 2026 will share an additional 2,000,000 SoPoints per week throughout the season. This bonus recognizes organic demand — trading that happened for its own sake, not in response to the incentive.
Points Calculation (Dynamic Weighting Model)
To maintain a fair and sybil-resistant environment, SoDEX uses a Dynamic Weighting Model. Rather than a fixed formula, the algorithm is fine-tuned weekly based on platform growth, market depth, and aggregate user behavior. Scoring criteria will also evolve as new products ship — multi-asset margin is already live, with more RWA spot and wealth products, and new perps pairs, on the way. This ensures genuine participants are protected and rewards are not diluted by bot manipulation.
Anti-Gaming & Enforcement
SoDEX maintains zero tolerance for wash trading or any form of manipulative farming. Real liquidity contribution is always prioritized over robotic repetition.

Where to check: After distribution is complete, you can view newly earned points, Squad boosts, and Treasure Box results for the previous week on the Rewards dashboard.
Weekly Points Pool
During Layer 1 Season, SoDEX distributes a fixed 900,000 SoPoints per week. As the platform scales, the “difficulty” of earning points may increase — early participants, and those who Squad up during the Early Bird window, gain a meaningful advantage.
